一、词以境界为最上

词以境界为最上。
有境界则自成高格,自有名句。
五代北宋之词所以独绝者在此。
The good [Ci] must be good at [JingJie].
If there is a [JingJie], it will become a high standard, and it will have its own famous sentences.
The unique [Ci] of the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty is here.

境界:
在笔者的理解中,文学中所谓的境界,就是文字上表达范围。
In the author's understanding, the [JingJie] in literature is the scope of expression in words.

文章境界的表达范围,往往不限于文字内的意思。
The scope of expression of the realm of an article is often not limited to the meaning of the text.

一篇优秀的文章,能够让读者产生一系列思考(理性),情绪(感性)等文字外的部分。
An excellent article, can let the reader produce a series of thinking and emotional parts, which are out of the text.

这些有思考或者情绪等引发出来的部分,也在文章的境界之内。
These thoughts or emotions are also within the [JingJie] of the article.

二、造境与写境

有造境,有写境,此理想与写实二派之所由分。
然二者颇难分别。
因大诗人所造之境,必合乎自然,所写之境,亦必邻于理想故也。
[JingJie] can be from fictitious or real world, that is the division of ideal and realism.
However, it is difficult to distinguish these two.
Because the [JingJie] created by a great poet must conform to nature, and the [JingJie] he wrote must be adjacent to his ideal.

三、有我之境与无我之境

有有我之境,有无我之境。
there are two different way to describe [JingJie], the one names [youwo] the other names [wuwo]

“泪眼问花花不语,乱红飞过秋千去”,“可堪孤馆闭春寒,杜鹃声里斜陽暮”,有我之境也。
"Tears ask flowers not to speak, red flying over the swing","It's cold in spring, but it's Dusk in the sound of cuckoo",these two belong to [youwo].

“采菊东篱下,悠然见南山”,“寒波澹澹起,白鸟悠悠下”,无我之境也。
"Picking Chrysanthemum under the eastern fence, leisurely see Nanshan", "cold waves Dan Dan Dan, white birds leisurely down", these two belong to [wuwo].

有我之境,以我观物,故物皆著我之色彩。
有我之境,在对目的描述中,往往能体现出属于作者的感情色彩。
[Youwo] emphasize the observer, it describes subject and environment with the feeling of observer.

无我之境,以物观物,故不知何者为我,何者为物。
无我之境,在对目的描述中,往往能所体现的是读者自身的感觉。
[Wuwo] emphasize the environment, it doesn't describes subject and environment with the feeling of observer.

古人为词,写有我之境者为多,然未始不能写无我之境,此在豪杰之士能自树立耳。
In the past, most of articles were [Youwo], only the some of the excellent were [Wuwo], which were written by the best writer.

四、优美与宏壮

无我之境,人唯于静中得之。
[Wuwo] is that people will feel the theme from the environment.

有我之境,于由动之静时得之。
[Youwo] does focus the special node in action about the human and environment.

故一优美,一宏壮也。
所以同样的美丽,前者是来自于理智的分析,后者是来自情感释放。
So the same beauty, the former comes from rational analysis, the latter comes from emotional release.


五、写实家与理想家

自然中之物,互相关系,互相限制。
Things in nature are related and restricted to each other.

然其写之于文学及美术中也,必遗其关系、限制之处,故虽写实家,亦理想家也。
在文学或者美术中,对这些自然界的事物进行表达,难免会跳出其中的某些相互关系,所以在描写中既要遵从事实,也要具有想象力。
In literature or art, the expression of these natural things will inevitably jump out of some of the interrelationships. Therefore, in the description, we should not only obey the facts, but also have imagination.

又虽如何虚构之境,其材料必求之于自然,而其构造,亦必从自然之法则。
在文学难免有虚构的环境,但这些虚构的环境也要有其自身的法则,如果是虚构一个自然环境,那也要遵从自然法则。
In literature, there are inevitably fictional environments, but these fictional environments should also have their own rules. If a natural environment is made up, it should also follow the natural laws.

故虽理想家,亦写实家也。
所以想象力必须符合自然规律。
So imagination must conform to the laws of nature.

六、境非独谓景物

境非独谓景物也。
[Jing] is not only a scenery.

喜怒哀乐,亦人心中之一境界。
Happiness, anger, sadness and joy is also one of the realm of human mind.

故能写真景物、真感情者,谓之有境界。否则谓之无境界。
所以在景物和感情这两方面写出真实感,就是能让人感觉到境界,反之就是没有境界。
Therefore, to write the sense of reality in the scenery and feelings is to make people feel the realm, otherwise, there is no realm.

七、“闹”字与“弄”字

“红杏枝头春意闹”,著一“闹”字,而境界全出。
Red apricots on the branch is a scenery of spring, it like a picture.
If to use the word "frolic" in sentence. --Red apricots frolic lively on the branch, which is not only shows the scenery of spring but also shows this moment dynamic, it likes movie.

八、境界不以大小分优劣

境界有大小,不以是而分优劣。
The state has its own size, and it is not based on what is good or bad.

十、太白纯以气象胜

太白纯以气象胜。
李白诗中的境界,以景物以及景物所表述的迹象最以为上。
Li Bai's poems are best at the scenery and the means expressed by the scenery.

“西风残照,汉家陵阙”,寥寥八字,遂关千古登临之口。
Palaces and Mausoleums of Han Dynasty has been in sunset in the west wind for long time (《yi-qin-e》). It is a famous way to describe the vicissitudes of historic sites

张皋文谓:“飞卿之词,深美闳约”,余谓:此四字唯冯正中足以当之。刘融齐谓:“飞卿精妙绝人”,差近之耳。
翻译
张惠言说,温庭筠的词,内涵深广,表达精确,近乎完美。
王国维认为真正能够称得上,内涵深广,表达精确,近乎完美的文章只有冯延巳。
刘融齐对温庭筠的赞誉也更适合在冯延已。
Zhang Huiyan said that Wen Tingyun's peoms has profound connotation, accurate expression and nearly perfect.
Wang Guowei thinks that Feng Yansi is the only one who can really be called as a writer with profound connotation and accurate expression.
The praise to Wen tingjun from Liu Rongqi is more suitable for Feng yansi.

with 和 and 后面分别加个定冠词 “a”、 “an” 语法才正确,似乎。当然,我也不能百分百拿准。已经多年没在说英文的环境中生活了。
